Impressions from Aurich, Germany
Blue Sky Youth Network as a partner organization participate on “Assistant Leader Training”. The topic of this training was „It’s magic, but not a miracle“. The training was held in Aurich, Germany from 8 of January to 15 of January. There were participants from England, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, and Macedonia of course represented by three Blue Skyers: Jovan Stojanovski, Dafinka Kaleshkoska and Marko Markovski.
Here what they say about this unforgettable event:
Dafinka said:
"The Assistant Leadership Training in Aurich was an amazing experience. We were provided the chance to visit Germany in a winter time, welcomed by the snow and the low temperatures. But the atmosphere of the training was completely contradictory to the weather, so we enjoyed a warm and friendly environment between the groups from Germany, Finland, Ireland, England and France. We sensed the intercultural sharing, we learned and had fun, and what is most important we gained new friends and experiences. International meetings of this kind neither are comparable to any subject at school nor can they be learned by any book. They are an escape from the reality, which always remains in our memories... I wish every young person to have such a chance...”

“First of all I must say thank you to Blue Sky for the chance to attend the assistant leader training that was held in Aurich. It was such an amazing experience and of course we learn so many new things . Also it was my first time in Germany and it was really fantastic, I saw a new culture, a new style of living and it was really cool. But for me the most important thing was that I made new friends . The mix of cultures had improved our vision for the others and we just enjoyed in the conversation for other nations. They made to feel us very comfortable and we just had a lot of fun.”

“The leadership training in Germany is a life time experience which I will remember forever… It gave me many new ideas and improved my leadership skills. I have made new friendships and discovered new cultures. A perfect opportunity to learn more about the snowy, but beautiful Germany and my peers from Europe. An experience that I recommend to every young person.”
