The EVS Accreditation
The Blue Sky Youth Network gets the EVS accreditation. Now, all youth in Macedonia, members of Blue Sky can go abroad and get new experiences, learned new things, visit a lot of places, get new friend and many more.
Also, all youth from European Union and Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein and Turkey can come in Macedonia and spend some time here, learning, getting experiences and having a lot of fun.
The European Voluntary Service (EVS) is part (Action 2) of the Youth in Action Programme founded by European Commission. The EVS provides young Europeans with the unique chance to express their personal commitment through unpaid and full-time voluntary activities in a foreign country within or outside the EU. In this way, it seeks to develop solidarity, mutual understanding and tolerance among young people, thus contributing to reinforcing social cohesion in the European Union and to promoting young people's active citizenship.
The process of accreditation is very simply. Each organization that likes to be part of the EVS first of all must submit an expression of interest (application) and wait for it approving. When the application is approved the organization sings up the EVS Charter. Accreditation lasts for three years but can be withdrawn. The Blue Sky Youth Network accomplishes all this steps and now we are accredited for EVS sending, hosting and coordinating organization.
Youth between 18 and 30, with willing to spend from 2 up to 12 months abroad or in Macedonia (if they are not Macedonian citizens) as EVS volunteers are welcome. Germany, Italy, Poland… or France, Finland, England… or any else country member of EU or Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Turkey can be your next destination. Now, the Blue Sky Spirit is starting to spread all over Europe.
