The Blue Sky Youth Network is opening a call for participants for the project Road to Gender Equality. The project is going to be held in Delchevo from 1-8 August 2011. Totally 20 participants are going to be part of it. The participants will be from 4 countries – Macedonia, Albania, Netherlands and United Kingdom. Every country is going to have 5 young people in this project, one leader and 4 participants.

The project is an 8 days youth exchange. The main aim of this project is to broaden the discussion about gender equality among European young people and to acquire knowledge and skills about gender issues in order to prepare the participants to take on youth leadership roles in their local communities and to become better promoters of gender equality and intercultural dialogue.

The host organization is covering all costs for accommodation and materials, and 70% of the travel cost.

Criteria for applying:

• To be between 17 and 25 years.
• To be full with energy and creative ideas.
• To be able to communicate on English.
• To be able to pay participation fee of 20 Euros.
