Masquerade Party

Once more we proved that Blue Sky Local Club – Kriva Palanka can do what it intends to... And this time we did it with style! The tradition in our and I believe in every other town in this country, is dressing the children up for the 1st of April. We, the members of BSLC-Kriva Palanka, felt in a way pretty nostalgic about our childhood and we surely wanted to feel that masquerade-paranoia again. So… we came up with an idea to organize a party in the discotheque – Charli Stil… only with one little condition.

Everyone had to wear a mask! All of us took this very serious and gave our maximum for realizing the project. Though we sometimes had to work individually, we functioned flawlessly as a team too. We made a one-of-a-kind Poster which we stack all over and printed the tickets which we were selling at school, as well as on entrance.

We spread the news for this event and there was an exceptional interest shown, especially from teenagers. Even weeks before the party you could feel it in the air, you could smell the euphoria and you could sense that something was going to happen soon. We felt extremely excited too. Everyone was creating a unique mask at home and would tell no one about it. Some of us bought costumes and some of us even sewed them from old clothes.

Then… it ticked 9.00 o’clock and we, the members of BSLC-KP headed towards the discotheque to welcome the guests. By 11 o’clock there were over 500 people, all having fun and definitely the time of their lives! But… what they didn’t know was that there were surprises. Around midnight we chose three masks to come on stage, and the people were supposed to choose the best one by applauding and screaming as loud as possible. And… the winner was baba Ratka od selo Trolo (which was a guy), with her lovely wedded husband. It was fair enough and they got a big teddy-bear which they danced with all night long.

In the end of the party everyone was congratulating us and we felt something priceless – we felt proud of ourselves and of what we have done!

Only the big beautiful blissful board-less blue sky can be our limit! Blue Sky flying high!
