Be part of the team of volunteers that are going to participate in the preparation and realization of Balkan Youth Festival 2009!

Balkan Youth Festival is going to happen in September 2009 in Sandanski, Bulgaria. It is one of the the biggest international events in South Eastern Europe with more than 200 participants form all over Europe. Each year Balkan Youth Festival is organized by young people. This year, you have a chance to be one of them!

Your role will be consisted of:
- welcoming the participants
- designing the stage for the concerts
- technical support
- coordination of the activities etc.

Volunteers’ Centre of Vojvodina and Nature Conservation Movement (PGVCV) has been established on January 25th, 2004, as a program of Nature Conservation Agency of Vojvodina, with the help from activists from several other organizations. It consists of young people who work on raising awareness on voluntarism and try to encourage other people, mainly young, to activate as volunteers.
One of our main activities is preparing and running international voluntary workcamps, in partnership with local communities in Vojvodina region. We are including local authorities’ youth and other NGOs, local public companies and interested individuals in all our projects.

The workcamp group usually consists of 15-20 participants, half of them are volunteers from local communities and the other half are volunteers from all over the world. Usually volunteers must be older than 18 years and there is no upper age limit.

Art competition for the Primary Schools and literature competition for the Secondary Schools with a topic: "My different friend". The Concurs lasts from 05/15/2009 till 06/15/2009. Hurry! Together with your teacher, parent of with your friends visit some place where children on your age are living and you will notice that they didn't have the same opportunities and the same life as you (Day Centers for Persons with Disability, hospitals and Roma neighborhoods and similar). Try to make some new friendship. Inspire your self trough Art to expend the message that every youth person in Macedonia is same and equal with others, and because of that - everybody should have equal opportunities.

After closing the call, we would like to inform you about the new management of Blue Sky Youth Network.

The new Executive director is Stojan Petrevski, and the new Programme director is Marko Markovski. Their mandade is one year.
Additionally we will inform you about the new Programme managers. We wish them a lot of success and many carried out projects. We also wish countless realized projects to all Blue Sky members with the new management.

The event “My project, my vision, my future” was held on Ponikva from the 8th to the 10th of May, 2009.

The participants chosen to contribute to the event were: Viktorija Spendzarska, Kristina Trnkovska, Deni Stojanov, Elena Stankovska, Nadica Maksimova, Natalija Krstova, Daniel Josifovski, Dane Josifovski, Ivana Trajanovska, Natasa Seneva, Dragan Petrov, Stojan Petrevski, Marko Markovski, and the mentors: Natasa Postolovska and Zane Stojkovska.

They were separated to form three groups. Accordingly with their foreground knowledge and the knowledge they gained during this training in the area of project writing, three new challenging ideas were born. These are the basics of three wonderful projects that need to be further developed by the project teams.

Unequivocally the party also took its place, as an inseparable part of the Blue Sky spirit.
