Once more Blue Sky is opening the call for Youth Meeting Point project – Extension. Because of the big interest for the project “Youth Meeting Point”, the Blue Sky Youth Network extended the deadline for sending your applications because we found more free places for participants.

This is an open call for the cities: Stip, Kumanovo, Struga, Strumica, Kicevo, Gostivar and Tetovo, without Skopje. We are looking forward to receiving your applications. The applications should be sent no later than 14 March 2010 on ymp@bluesky.org.mk

After carefully evaluating all of the applications for the Second Regional Conference of Student Organizations in South – Eastern Europe, the Executive Office made the decision that:

will be our representatives from the Blue Sky Youth Network.

For a very short period BSLC Strumica has achieved the largest number of members from all Blue Sky Local Clubs in Macedonia – 120. The Blue Sky spirit is in our hearts and we are working hard all together as a whole, and we’re ambitious to make many great projects in favor of youth.

ONLY THE SKY CAN BE THE LIMIT!!!

On 30.12.2009 we successfully accomplished the
action for help to the Roms population. It was very successful, the
members of the Blue Sky local club in Strumica gathered money for the
action and we had support from many other organizations. We look forward
to do other projects successful like this one.

On 14/02/2010, for St. Valentine's Day BS Local Club Strumica made really great action. We created love packages with sweet love chocolates, love messages and love decorations... all this in lovely bags. These love gifts were awarded to all couples in love in Strumica. Also we made our own BS Local Club Strumica Love Card.

Hello dear Blue Skyers!

Here we are again, now describing our activities up to now.

The local club Blue Sky – Kriva Palanka has been active since October with over twenty members. We have been having meetings every week in a classroom within the “Culture club” and in the Youth office in our high-school whenever needed.

On these meetings we have been expressing our ideas for how to make our surrounding a better place to live, using plenty of creativity, exerting our imaginations and trying to look outside the box and the chains set by today’s society.

Blue Sky Youth Network Macedonia is starting with new project – “Youth Meeting Point” that is supported by United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC). The project will be implemented in period from February to July in eight cities in Macedonia: Skopje, Tetovo, Gostivar, Kicevo, Kumanovo, Struga, Strumica and Stip. The project theme is intercultural learning and inter-religious dialog. Target group are young people between 17 and 24 years. Blue Sky Kocani was active this weekend! In collaboration with an American volunteer in our city Laura Pontecore, we managed to arrange a workshop this Saturday. Our topic was “Objectification of the women in the media”. We wanted to raise the awarness about the objectification, because we can see it everywhere and everyday and we ignore it like it’s something normal. Though it was women’s topic, we had guys too! We had guests from the Blue Sky-Vinica club, and we made a great collaboration with them. Also a representative from the youth organization “Avangarda” was a part of our work shop.

Blue Sky Youth Network organized a Blue Sky Alumni Party in order to welcome back the Blue Skyers of many generations. On 23 of February in the Boni Café the Alumni Club was formed.

More than 25 exceptional Blue Sky members, that gave a lot for Blue Sky throughout the years, now are part of it. In future, Blue Sky Youth Network is going to use their capacities and “knowledge and skill” for the needs of Blue Sky.

Coordinator of the club is Erina Najdovska – very powerful and creative Blue Skyer. With forming of the Blue Sky Alumni Club, we like to say a heartfelt “thank you” to many young professionals – members of Blue Sky. A tribune was perpetuated in organization of local club Blue Sky – Kriva Palanka on date 28.01.2010. The meeting, named ‘The youth and culture’, occurred in the trivial concourse in the Municipality of Kriva Palanka. A small part of the members of the local club Blue Sky – Kriva Palanka attended, as well as representatives from plenty institutions among whom were the Mayor of municipality of Kriva Palanka along with his spokesman, deputies from the primary schools, the kindergarten and the high-school as well, the director of the ‘Culture club’ and many other active cultural workers in the city.
